Nicky (Will Smith) is a season master of misdirection when it comes to cons and pick pocketing.  He takes in a beautiful novice con artist Jess (MargoT Robbie) who he gets romantically involved with.   He breaks it off with her abruptly and he must try to stay on the top of his game when he meets her again three years later in Buenos Aires where he is pulling off his biggest con in the world of the high-stakes race car circuit.

FOCUS is all about misdirection, lies, and the con.  The story is full of twists and turns as the story misdirects you and even lay down some foreshadowing.  The cast plays a colorful selection of con artists as you see the game from their point of view.

SPECIAL FETAURES:

MASTERS OF MISDIRECTION: THE PLAYERS IN A CON- master con artist/ pick pocket Apollo Robbins talks about the pick pocket and con game from the various element s and people that go into a con and games of misdirection.  Also included are rehearsal footage of Margot Robbie learning how to be a pick pocket and misdirect people.

WILL SMITH: THE GENTLEMAN THIEF- Will Smith talks about playing Nicky and others talk about how it is to work with him

MARGOT ROBBIE: STEALING HEARTS- she talks about how she enjoyed learning to be a pick pocket for the movie

A few deleted, extended, and alternate scenes (about eight minutes total) are also included on the disc in addition to an alternate opening which has no place in the final film.

FINAL ANALYSIS: FOCUS is an entertaining con game of a movie with enough twists and great cast chemistry.
