POINT BLANK is a rush when it starts moving. It is an action thriller that holds you tight and doesn't let you go until the
credits roll at the end. Samuel is a nurse and his wife is expecting their
first kid during what is becoming a difficult pregnancy for her. Samuel saves
a gypsy safecracker named Sartet from being murdered in the hospital where Samuel works.
On the next day, Samuel's wife is kidnapped by Sartet's brother and he is forced to break Sartet out of the hospital. Soon Sartet and Samuel find they must work together as both of them find the
stakes are higher than either could have imagined.
POINT BLANK is a film that best discovered
without watching the trailer which gives away a couple of plot twists. Samuel
and Sartet make an unlikely duo as director Fred Cavaye keeps the story moving with each scene. When his crew and actors doubted him, Cavaye knew what the film was going to look like. POINT BLANK may be the work of a team, but it is ultimately one man's vision that makes the film the rush
from the start to finish.

minutes long as it goes behind the pre-production and production of POINT BLANK with interviews with the director, cast, and
crew. It isn't your usual boring affair that many behind-the-scenes French documentaries
are when they feel padded and unedited. You learn that the cast and crew
has doubts about the director's decisions as the director states many time she knows where he is going (even when he listens
to the opinions of his cast and crew).
