95ERS: TIME RUNNERS is the first movie in the 95ERS universe.    The story follows pregnant FBI Agent Sally Biggs (Alesandra Durham) who had the ability since childhood to rewind time by a matter of seconds.  She is obsessed with investigating cases involving the supernatural and unexplained after the mysterious disappearance of her physicist husband.  She is being tracked by opposite sides in a war taking place in the future where the ultimate weapons are time machines and changing the past can mean victory for one side.  She must follow the echoes of her husband’s past to learn what happened to him and find a way to stop her past from being unraveled.

95ERS: TIME RUNNERS is one of those multi-layer movies with lots going on and a central relationship between a woman and the husband she misses as she must come to understand her abilities and her love for the man she sometimes wished she didn’t fall in love with and marry.   The micro budgeted film shows what lots of love and dedication can create.   The movie was filmed mostly in Utah with some location shooting done on the east coast of the United States for a movie that took five years to make involving support from family and friends, going into debt, and donations from people via Kickstarter.  It also goes into the science and paradoxes of time travel while weaving it into the story which I give kudos to director Thomas Durham being able to do that without bringing about major headaches for the viewer.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

Audio commentary with writer/ director Thomas Gomez Durham and actress Alesandra Durham which goes into detail the difficulties and challenges of making a film on a micro budget.

Two deleted scenes and three extended scenes with audio introductions by the director.

FINAL ANALYSIS:  95ERS: TIME RUNNERS is a well layered micro budgeted film which shows what you can do on a small budget and with lots of love and dedication.  I hope they get a chance to make more movies in the 95ERS universe.
