Christine Lucas (Nicole Kidman) wakes up every
                                    day
remembering nothing and her last memories were from her early twenties.   She
doesn’t remember her husband Ben (Colin
Firth) and she has to look at a wall of pictures every day, but she gets a call
from Dr. Nasch (Mark Strong) who she has been seeing in secret to help treat
her condition and she has been keeping a secret video diary to help her with
what she discovered on previous days.
She tries to piece together what caused her amnesia and find a way to
move forward with her life as she uncovers terrifying secrets and get flashes
of memory that makes her doubt whom she can trust.    BEFORE I GO TO
                                    SLEEP is a great jigsaw
piece mystery from writer/ director Rowan Jofee (adapting the S.J. Watson
novel)   Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth
have great chemistry in their second onscreen pairing (they played husband and
wife first in THE RAILROAD MAN) while Mark
Strong is good at playing a caring doctor as well as he can play the
villain.   I liked going along the
journey with Christine as she tries to piece together her past as it made me
care for her journey to discover whether an accident caused her amnesia.   I
would love to see Kidman and Firth star in
                                    another movie together very soon.

                                    FINAL ANALYSIS:
BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP is a great jigsaw piece mystery thriller with a
great central cast of three actors.   It
is well worth watch at least once and I hope Kidman teams up with firth for
                                    another movie soon.
