FOUR LIONS dives in and makes a very funny satire about five would-be Jihadi suicide bombers.   It makes them very human while showing how inept they are.   Their mistakes bring out so much humor while you want them to get a clue and give up their quest to be suicide bombers.   It starts with four idiots who want to be suicide bombers.   The white Muslim of the bunch (Barry the nihilist)  wants to blow up a mosque to get the Muslims to rise up against the world while Omar is disillusioned about the treatment of Muslims around the world.   Omar's wife supports him in his quest while you wonder if she is humoring him (or truly believes in him).   He shows the outtakes of the Jihad videos the group makes.

FOUR LIONS shows these character's follies as they make themselves more laughable as they decide to be too paranoid.  Then they want to dress in animal mascot costumes to conceal their suicide bombs.    They can't even get things right when two of the group go to a training camp in another country.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
The Bradford interview is with cast and the director while the Behind-The Scenes segments show various parts from the making of FOUR LIONS.   The Background material features interviews with real Muslims which Chris Moore used for research in realizing the characters in FOUR LIONS.  the deleted scenes features some gems cut from the film while I find the one with the box on the head to be my favorite.

FINAL ANALYSIS:   FOUR LIONS manages to create a funny satire about five would-be suicide bombers while making them very human.
