OCEANS is full of vibrant and beautiful cinematography.  It shows how alive the oceans are and the documentary is sometimes edited like an action film (with music to match).  The only complaint about the film is that Pierce Brosnan's narration sounds like they gave him a prozac because sometimes it makes you want to go asleep.   Thankfully, the cinematography, music, and editing kept me interested.   OCEANS is a documentary that introduces many to a world they may never visit and a world they have never seen in this way.  The Earth's oceans are part of a living system that deserves to be respected and not mistreated.   OCEANS is a documentary that is better than last year's EARTH and it also brings out a world that needs to be protected.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
DISNEY & NATURE: PRESERVING THE WORLDS WE SHARE-  a fetaurette that focuses on Disney's nature films and their conservation projects around the world that have been going on for decades.
DEEPER IN THE OCEAN- 5 behind-the-scenes featurettes that take a behind-the-scenes looks at the making of OCEANS including the cameras they used and how they filmed/ edited the film.
Also a music video called MAKE A WAVE featuring Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato is on the disc.

FINAL ANALYSIS:  OCEANS is a more interesting documentary than last year's EARTH, but the behind-the-scenes material doesn't match the excellent making-of on EARTH (narrated by Paul McGann and was actually better than the documentary EARTH).
