RAZE is an intense no-holds barred action film where abducted women are forced to fight each other to the death in an underground bunker (or their loved ones will be killed).  Sabrina (Zoe Bell) is fighting for her life and the life of her daughter as she fights other captive women including Jamie (Rachel Nichols) to the death as the sadistic leader of the game Joseph (Doug Jones not in special effects makeup for this one) who is looking to mold the next great female warrior to welcome back into society.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

Audio commentary with Writer/ Director/ Producer Josh Waller, Producer/ Actress Zoë Bell, Producer/ Actor Andrew Pagana, and Writer/ Producer/ Fight Choreographer Kenny Gage

CAST & CREW INTERVIEWS with Actress/ Producer Zoe Bell, Actress Rebecca Marshall, Actress/ Executive Producer Allene Quincy, Director Josh Waller, Writer Robert Beaucage, Stunt Coordinator James Young, Make-Up/ Special Effects Supervisor Mario Torres

BEHIND THE SCENES featurette (approx 12 minutes)

FEATURETTE- a brief featurette about the film and action

RAZE: THE FIGHTS- a behind-the-scenes look at the fight scenes including the training and previz work the actors did to get the fights right.

A short two minute BEHIND THE SCENES reel

36 minutes of deleted and extended scenes (15 scenes in total) with optional commentary and the two stand out scenes are the epilogue and the Princess and the Dragon story scene. Also included is an alternate opening that starts out with crime statistics about missing women.

Two minutes of Extended Fights montages from various fights in the film

A delightful 4 ½ minute gag reel or the cast having fun, forgetting their lines, and screwing up their fight scenes

Also included on the disc are the original 19 minute short film (which is basically the beginning of the film), an alternate poster gallery of two posters, three trailers (theatrical trailer, Toronto Film Fest trailer, Tribecca Film Festival trailer), and previews for other releases from IFC.

FINAL ANALYSIS:   RAZE is amazing for the intense fight scenes which kept me engaged through the whole film.
