DAVID LYNCH: THE ART LIFE is a look into the mind of David lynch as he talks about his childhood and his beginning as an artist into what he refers to as the Art Life and the film ends with the making of Lynch’s first film ERASERHEAD. This very revealing look is a documentary that is a mix of footage shot showing David Lynch at work in his studio in his cement compound (and even gets a visit from his baby daughter), interviews with Lynch (as he sometimes smokes), family photos, and silent film of his childhood to provide a unique insight into one of the most unique film directors of all time. His last night in Idaho a memory that would go on to inspire a scene in BLUE VELVET.
