LAST NIGHT IN SOHO is a nice twisty piece of work from director Edgar Wright who also co-wrote the script. The movie has a few surprises with a great cast as the past and present blend well to tell the tale of Eloise- an aspiring fashion- designer who learns about the past of a young woman singer, Sandie, who wanted to succeed in the 1960s. Eloise learns about Sandie's past whenever she goes to sleep and she starts to get obsessed with whatever happened to Sandie. Was Sandie murdered?

SPECIAL FEATURES:
There are always a wealth of extras for an Edgar Wright movie on blu-ray and LAST NIGHT IN SOHO is no exception. You get an extensive look at the tests done for the movie and go behind-the-scenes in addition to a few deleted scenes, a couple of trailers, an audio commentary with Edgar Wright and a couple of other crew members. The package also includes a code for a digital copy of LAST NIGHT IN SOHO and the movie in standard definition on DVD.

Featurettes:
MEET ELOISE- a featurette on Thomasin McKenzie and the character she pays
DREAMING OF SANDIE- a look at Sandie and how Edgar Wright wanted Anya Taylor-Joy for this movie even before he wrote it
SMOKE AND MIRRORS
ON THE STREETS OF SOHO- a behind-the-scenes look at how they recreated 1960s Soho
TIME TRAVELLING

Animatics for four sequences
Other extras show Hair and Make-up Tests, Lighting and VFX Tests, Acton Town Hall Steadycam Rehearsal Test, Wide Angle view of how one dance sequence was filmed

Downtown music video by Anya Taylor-Joy
Two trailers- the US trailer and the international theatrical trailer
Two audio commentaries- Director Edgar Wright with the film's editor and composer and the other where Edgar Wright is with co-writer Krysty Wilson-Cairns

FINAL ANALYSIS: LAST NIGHT IN SOHO is my second favorite movie by Edgar Wright behind SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD. It is a visual masterpiece with a great twisty story. I would highly recommend this one and the extras are fantastic on this release if you want to learn about how they made movie magic.
