THE CREATOR is a visually impressive movie with some big sci-fi ides underneath those visuals. An ex-federal special forces operative Joshua Taylor (John David Washington) from the USA is convinced to continue the hunt for a mysterious figure known as Nirmata after he sees evidence that his wife from his undercover days might still be alive. He gets sent on a mission to Asia where they still protect AI and robots where the USA wants to blame and destroy all AI and robots. He comes across a robot child he comes to protect as he continues to search for Nirmata. Director Gareth Edwards is in top form with this movie and you will love this movie if you liked one of his previous movies like ROGUE ONE or GODZILLA. I wonder what type of movie he will create next. THE CREATOR is like the spiritual cousin to ELYSIUM which has a great visual style while exploring a world that has a similar look to THE CREATOR. The two movies would make for a good double feature in one evening.

TRUE LOVE: MAKING THE CREATOR (55:47)- this making-of documentary takes us on a road trip of Gareth Edwards and his crew fro the rip they took to scout locations and shoot test footage to the making of the movie. It is a great documentary if you want to know about the making of THE CREATOR.

Also included is the movie on blu-ray in 1080p HD (I do wonder why Disney opted to put the 4K transfer on a BD-66 instead of a BD-100) and a digital code to stream/ download the movie in 4K.

FINAL ANALYSIS: THE CREATOR has some great visuals and effects to it as Gareth Edwards as immersed you in a great sci-fi world you should watch on disc or stream on Hulu. Too bad the movie isn't on a BD-100 and the film didn't have more extras than just a making-of documentary (which is great by the way).
